Was Judas Mother’s Parenting
Responsible for Judas’s Act of Betrayal?

Are parents really responsible
for the Choices of their children?

Do parents know the difference between true responsibility and false responsibility?

Maternal guilt is huge. It always has been and even more so today because of working
mother's guilt, divorced mothers guilt and others with idealized expectations of themselves
thus taking on a false sense of responsibly for the choices of their children.

Mother's guilt is not talked about in social circles, nor addressed in religious institutions, and very few seek professional help working through it. Unmerited guilt is detrimental to both mother and child.

Judas’s Mother tells the Biblical story of Judas Iscariot’s mother, Mary, and the many
lessons, feelings, and journey’s that encompass the life of every mother and every family.

The story identifies five of the most critical responsibilities of motherhood.

Thousands of times a year a mother grieves for a lost child, a child lost to an event as a
victim or victimizer.  No matter what the circumstances, the label attached to the family is
one a mother wears perhaps more personally than anyone else does.

Bobbi Sims, author  of Judas’s Mother, understands maternal guilt both from her clients and from her journey  to heal herself from her guilt after the accidental death of her own son; Judas’s Mother is not just a story, it is a healing.

Does a mother’s guilt cloud her judgment in making
       decisions for her children?

~~   Do single mothers experience more guilt and anxiety?

~~  Are there ways to guarantee you are raising responsible children?

~~  How does guilt damage both the parent and the child?

~~   Does parental guilt lead to over-indulging the children?

~~  Can a mother really ever let go of all guilt?

What Judas’s Mother knows about Maternal Guilt
and the Detrimental Effects on Children, All Mothers Need to Know
